MBA (ENG) CELEBRATES “VASANTOTSAVA”
Vasantotsava was ceremoniously celebrated in MBA (Engineering), CTAE on Saturday on the occasion of “Basant Panchmi’. Basant Panchami is a festival dedicated to the Goddess of Knowledge, Saraswati. It also marks the onset of Spring Season.

On this occasion, an essay writing competition on the theme “CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND ENVIRONMENT PERSPECTIVES” and a collage competition on the theme “SAVE EARTH” were organized.
Students described the responsibilities of the corporates towards environment and gave their suggestions on the issue.
They called upon the corporates to be more conscious & dedicated towards the environment. In the collage competition, various teams illustrated the disastrous impact of pollution; the problems & diseases caused by it using pictures and gave their suggestions on preventing the environmental damage.
They emphasized on the necessity of “Greener Earth” and vowed to be more responsible towards nature. On this occasion, the guests, faculties and students also planted trees in the college premises avowing their dedication to nature and environment conservation.
The chief guest of the function was Manak Arya, Station Director, All India Radio, Udaipur. Arya, in his address appreciated the programme and blessed the students for continuous progress in life. He also appreciated the dedication of management students towards environment. Dean of the college, Dr. N.S. Rathore, in his presidential address encouraged the students to keep a positive attitude in life for building a brighter future. Citing the example of the lifestyle of French youth, he asked the students to live a better planned & managed life.
In the beginning, the coordinator of the course, Dr. S. Jindal welcomed the guests and emphasized the role of environment in management. Dr. Anupam Bhatnagar, Training & Placement Officer of the college was also present on the occasion.
Prior to this, the students took an industrial visit to the Udaipur Dairy Plant (SARAS) at Goverdhan Vilas on Friday. They visited the plant to learn more about the various managerial perspectives in the operations. The students enhanced their knowledge on procurement, marketing, organization structure & hierarchy, finance, advertising, etc. at SARAS, which is an exemplary example of a co-operative. The students also had a discussion and a question answer session with the plant officials.
