An Oath taking ceremony was organized today by Hiran Magri, Sector-3 and Pratap Nagar branch of MDS School.  The students were selected with the votes of all.

The Chief-Guest of the event, Col. (Retd.)P.S. Bhatnagar; Dr. Deepak Sharma, Installation Officer; Ajay Sabla; Gajendra Suyal; Dhirendra Sacchan and Dr. Shailendra Somani, Director, MDS School lit the lamp to start the proceedings of the event.

A total of 44 students from Fourth to Twelfth standard were designated different posts and they took oath.  Himanshu Manghani, Head Boy; Padam Kunwar Krishnawat, Head Girl; Manish Suthar and Pushkar Patel, Sports Captain and Himanshu Mattha, Riya Singh, Soumya Saxena with Parag Dangi, House Captains took oath to perform their duties with discipline and protocol.  Along with the Students, Student Council Members were given the oath by Dr. Deepak Sharma and Dr. Shailendra Somani.

Himanshu was given a School Flag and House Flags were handed to the representatives of Nalanda, Vikramshila, Takshila and Vallabhi houses.  The students were then divided into the houses and were made aware of their house-history.

Bhatnagar said, “Head Students and House Captains should be aware of their duties all the time and should try to obey them every now and then with discipline and by following laid protocols”. Dr. Nidhi Maheshwari, Principal, MDS did the thanksgiving,.
