Microsoft Corporation India Private Limited today joined forces with Sir Padampat Singhania University to help increase students employability towards education resource program, Ed- Vantage.

The program provides a platform for corporates to hire Microsoft Technology Certified Students of high caliber from colleges for internship and employment. Ed- Vantage allows for industry connections facilitation for eligible students for internship and employment.

Sir Padampat Singhania University, a pioneer in industry embedded education, is Microsoft’s Ed-Vantage Platinum Campus in the State of Rajasthan. Sir Padampat Singhania University has passed stringent qualifying criteria to achieve this prestigious landmark. Building on their illustrious track record in helping students to connect to future challenges, the university has taken their ability to deliver industry ready human resources to the next level, by partnering with Microsoft as an Ed-Vantage Platinum Campus.

Emphasizing the importance of this initiative along with Sir Padampat Singhania University in furthering student employability, the Director – Geo Expansion, Microsoft India, Raj Katari was present at the sprawling Sir Padampat Singhania University campus to personally launch and hand over the Ed-Vantage Platinum Campus Certification to Ashok Gosh, President Sir Padampat Singhania University.

Microsoft will also partner with Sir Padampat Singhania University to host a Microsoft Innovation Center (MIC), a state-of –the-art technology facility for innovative research, technology and software solutions.

This will be achieved through a combination of academic, government and industry participants.

Under Ed-Vantage collaborative model, Microsoft India endeavors to provide the right platform to enable institutes across India to raise their true potential by bringing in more technology innovation in capacity building for faculty and students; and making the students more employable.

The program will engage leading corporate who will benefit from access to fresh high-caliber talent certified on the latest Microsoft technology.

Commenting on the partnership, Raj Katari said, “Sir Padampat Singhania University has been a trend setter in Industry relevant education, and we are pleased to partner with them as the Microsoft Ed-Vantage Platinum Campus in Rajasthan.”
