Following the opposition from students, MLSU has removed B.Sc. result from the university’s website. B.Sc. students claim that the results as shown on the website are not correct. They have accused the administration for having the copies corrected from teachers who are not well versed with the respective subjects.

Students said that those who scored 80 to 90 percent marks in 12th standard have been marked as failed and some have been given only 70 percent marks in first year. Following this opposition, MLSU authorities have removed B.Sc. result from their website. As per University authorities, the matter has been referred to controller of examinations.

An investigation committee will now be set up to look into the matter deeply. Apart from this, it has also been decided to have the copies checked in front of the students so that there is no controversy later.

On 19th June, students had demanded a rechecking of the copies and also that wrong results be removed from the website. But their demand was brushed away and this Saturday, 23rd June, results were declared for B.Sc. 2nd year as well. This gave rise to opposition from students and they protested outside MLSU guest house. Going forward, Dean of BN College assured the students of re-evaluation.
