MLSU Elections – History Created as Students’ Union President elected Uncontested
Students' Union Elections at MLSU conclude
Students’ Union Elections 2015 at Mohan Lal Sukhadia University concluded on Wednesday with the declaration of results for the different positions at various Colleges under the University. It is to be noted that the most prominent position of President of Students’ Union of MLSU had already been declared few days back after the nomination of the candidate contesting from the NSUI ticket was rejected by the Lyngdoh Committee, when objections raised objections on the NSUI candidates eligibility were sustained. Even after a series of protest and demonstrations by NSUI, Sonu Ahari of ABVP was finally declared the uncontested President of the Students’ Union.
Weeks of campaign ended on Wednesday when the students packed the roads to hear that who would represent students in the coming year.
At University Level, Sonu Ahari has become MLSU’ s first ever un-challenged President of the C.S.U and Vijendra Singh Rao won the race for Vice President. Praful Verma, took the seat of General Secretary of the Central Student’s Union whereas Akansha was elected as Joint Secretary.
Besides the three major positions of Central Students’ Union, Mohit Parmar of Arts college, Naresh Sharma of Law College, Lokesh Bamboria of Science College, Aman Aswani of Commerce College and Suman Kalasuwa of M.G college became Presidents of their Colleges.

Arts College
President: Mohit Parmar (1482)

Joint Secretary: Maya Jatta (1668)
Law College
President: Naresh Sharma (210) won with a margin of 14 votes among the 4 other candidates
Vice President: Yash Mogra (500)
Gen. Secretary: Pooja Upadhayay (380)
Joint Secretary: Bhumika Tapiya ( 460)
Science College
President: Lokesh Bamboria ( 904)
Vice President: Satish Gurjar ( un objected )
Gen. Secretary: Ankit Patel ( 861)
Joint Secretary: Kamini Gupta ( 959)
