MLSU shut after protests
A large number of people, including students, from the Shrimali community gathered outside the administrative block of MLSU and raised slogans against the levying of allegations on Prof Vijay Shrimali.
Mohan Lal Sukhadia University (MLSU) Udaipur was shut down today after a large number of people gathered there to protest against the report that levied serious irregularity allegations on Late Prof Vijay Shrimali in the LDC admission process.
A large number of people, including students, from the Shrimali community gathered outside the administrative block of MLSU and raised slogans against the levying of allegations on Prof Vijay Shrimali. The protesters also shut down the administrative block.
The protesters said that Prof Shrimali is no more alive and cannot answer the allegations. They said that the entire Mewar region is a witness to Late Prof Shrimali’s integrity and dedication. They said that feelings of entire Shrimali community has been hurt by these baseless allegations.
The protesters threatened that if Vice Chancellor JP Sharma does not publicly condemn the allegations then the Shrimali community will initate a protest campaign against the Vice Chancellor. Any law and order problem that emanates from the protest will be responsibility of the Vice Chancellor, said the protesters.
