For the first time in south Rajasthan, Mohan Lal Sukhadia University is starting MA in Journalism course from the academic year 2015-16. The two year degree course will complete in 4 semesters.

For the admission in this course, graduates with 50% passing marks can apply online on the website before 30^th June. The course will educate students in the field of journalism and broadcasting.

Dr. Kunjan Acharya, In charge of Journalism Dept informed that with the increasing demand and growth in the field of journalism, this course has been inculcated in the academic year. The one year diploma course in journalism will also commence soon.

To put emphasis on practical training of the students an in-house newspaper ‘Campus News’ is published. Also, aspiring students are trained in broadcast and electronic media for which preparations are also being made to launch community radio station which will be regulated by the students themselves.
