S.P Jain Management & Research Institute, Mumbai with Gayatri Seva Sansthan are working on a project that will enable efficient marketing and branding of agricultural products that are manufactured in tribal areas.

S.P Jain Management & Research Institute, Mumbai with Gayatri Seva Sansthan are working on a project that will enable efficient marketing and branding of agricultural products that are manufactured in tribal areas.  

CEO of the Sansthan, Chetan Pandey informed that 4 students under the Development of Corporate Citizen Program of S.P Jain Management & Research Institute are here in Udaipur for internship of 1.5 months.

These students are collecting baseline data of small and marginal farmers to create marketing plan that will not only enable them to generate enough revenue, also the consumers will be getting fresh products at the best prices.

In the scheme, a provision of microfinance has also been considered through which the farmer at root level can increase productivity while using the advanced technology.

For the implementation of the project, an online portal is under construction which will interlink the consumer and manufacturer. The students who are working on this project are Sanchi Sharma, Saurabh Bhandari, Nikhil Khandelwal and Sonal Dagar of S.P Jain Management & Research Institute.
