Joshi Aunt’s Paying Guest Home. The owner Mrs. Meena Joshi is running this facility at her own home since 2007 for boys, girls and working women coming to Udaipur for studying in different colleges, pursuing professional courses in fields of Accounts, Art, Computers and for those who come for a period of two-three months in order to prepare themselves for government sector entry exams or PET, PMT and CPT. She never went outside for publicity as many people come down by hearing from their own relatives, and colleague of her husband working in other nearby towns and cities. This is situated at Plot Number 257, Road Number 18, Ashok Nagar, Opposite Hanuman Park Water Tank, Udaipur. There are 7 rooms out of which 4 are for Boys on the ground floor and 3 are for girls on the first floor having separate entry and exits to avoid intermingling. Each room has attached toilet and bathroom. Every resident is given a separate bed, bedding, wardrobe and table chair to study. Housekeeping chores like cleaning of rooms and availability drinking water are taken cared by promoters. Normal charges are about Rs. 4000 per person which covers stay, lunch, dinner and breakfast. If someone wishes to manage breakfast on his own he is discounted 500 Rs. This facility is near to many Coaching and Tuition centers, and colleges like M.B. College, B.N. College, Shramjeevi College and Pacific College.
