NAAC team visits MLSU
An 8 member team of National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) – an autonomous institution of the University Grants Commission visited Mohanlal Sukhadia University today as a part of their official inspection.
An 8 member team of National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) – an autonomous institution of the University Grants Commission visited Mohanlal Sukhadia University today as a part of their official inspection.
The team will check all the MLSU’s colleges during their four day stay in Udaipur.
Prior to the inspection of Central Library, an introduction meeting was conducted at the auditorium near Vice Chancellor’s chamber. Prof. I.V Trivedi, VC of MLSU with all administrative officers and faculties were present in the meeting.
The team checked the departments of Biotechnology, Environment Science, Computer Science, Pharmacy, Geography, Psychology, Philosophy, English, Political Science and Human Rights.
NAAC officials also met all the staff of MLSU in a small meeting that took place in the evening.
Vice Chancellor I.V Trivedi, said, “In last five years MLSU has changed in many aspects, like infra structure, faculty and revenue. We hope to get the ‘A’ grade by the NAAC authority this time.”
According to the information provided by college authority, the inspection is based on two factors viz. quality and quantity. In quality, the NAAC member will check classes, teaching methodology, status, and placement result, social activities like NSS, NCC and YDC.
