-The survey is based on the education level in 5 major subjects.

-Efforts are being made to improve the performance level of students.

The level of education in students needs to be checked from time to time to understand the quality of education being imparted to the students and to improve the performance level of students in various fields.

A National Achievement Survey has been proposed for the month of November this year to analyse the students. The survey will be based on the 5 major subjects viz. English, Social Studies, Mathematics, Science and languages.

Preparations on both state and district level have commenced. The aim of the survey is to check the learning outcome of the students based on which the level of education in each school can be assessed and improved on case to case basis.

The last survey was conducted in 2017 where the performance of Rajasthan state was beyond average but Udaipur did not make its place in Top-20. Udaipur ranked 15th among students of class 3, 25th in class 5 and 22nd in class 8 category. Since the pandemic era has challenged the education of students in 2020-21, it is to be assessed as to how the survey is to be carried out since classes have not yet begun for 3rd, 5th and 8th standards.  Efforts are being made to improve the performance of the students based on the directions received from the state government.
