A two day National Seminar on “Women Empowerment, a Challenge” is being organized at Rajasthan Mahila Teachers’ Training College, Udaipur on 4th and 5th February 2012. The topics that will be discussed in various seminars in the two days are ‘Concept of Women Empowerment’; ‘Historical and Sociological Dimensions of Women Empowerment’; ‘Role of Education in Women Empowerment’,

The topics that will be discussed in various seminars in the two days are ‘Concept of Women Empowerment’; ‘Historical and Sociological Dimensions of Women Empowerment’; ‘Role of Education in Women Empowerment’, ‘Need for Women Empowerment in the Modern context’; ‘Hurdles in achieving Women Empowerment’; ‘Measures for Ensuring Women Empowerment’.

Registrations for the seminar are open till 4th of February and the registration fee for outside participants, local participants and student participants are Rs. 700/-, Rs. 500/-, Rs. 400/- respectively. For out-station participants, the registration fee is included with lodging and boarding facility

The seminar is being organized by the Rajasthan Mahila Teacher’s Training College, Udaipur, which a unit of Rajasthan Mahila Vidyalaya (RMV). RMV is an educational institution which has been working towards the upliftment and imparting education to the women of society for a period of over 95 years. The institution aims at developing enthusiastic, empowered, devoted and responsible women citizen.
