Mathematics and Statistics department of MLSU is organising a 5-day National workshop on Computational techniques for Education and Research. The workshop commenced on Monday attended by 62 faculty members and research students.

Chief Guest VC of Govind Guru Tribal University, Banswara, said that Mathematics has played an important role in the progress of India. In the recent times, if India’s contribution has gone down in the field of science it is mainly because of weak mathematics. The workshop was presided by Prof BL Ahuja who threw light on the importance of softwares being used in international workshops.
