One of the focus areas of NEP 20202 is the need to provide continuous opportunities to teachers for self-improvement and to learn the latest innovations and advances in their profession. With the genesis of the NEP 2020 in perspective, the National Initiatives for School Heads and Teachers Holistic Advancement (NISHTHA) program was launched by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, in 2020.
Some of the courses recently rolled out under NISHTHA are centered on learning outcomes and learner centered pedagogy, with the following intended objectives:
Once the course has been completed the certificate will be generated in 7-10 working days IF the course has been completed and a minimum score of 70% has been attained in the course assessment.
The CBSE has instructed all school Principals to ensure that all teachers at the Secondary level complete the course.
