NEET 2025: New Guidelines for Stray Vacancy Counselling

Students who joined AIQ 15% Stray round cannot participate in State 85% Stray Vacancy counselling

Udaipur, Nov 17, 2025 - The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has issued new guidelines for NEET 2025 State Counselling authoritie. Students who have already joined a seat in the All India 15% quota Stray Vacancy round will not be eligible to participate in the 85% State quota MBBS–BDS counselling Stray Vacancy round.

MCC will now send the joining list of the Stray Vacancy round to the States. According to the information provided on the MCC website, the reporting and joining process for seats allotted under the All India 15% quota MBBS–BDS counselling Stray Vacancy round began on Sunday, November 16.

The Medical Counselling Committee is conducting the NEET counselling 2025 for the allotment of MBBS-BDS seats and the final seat allotment result of the Stray Vacancy round counselling was declared on November 15, 2025. This marks the final phase of the centralised medial counselling process for the year. Candidates with allotted seats are to report from November 16.
