NEET PG 2026 Re-Exam in Jaipur: 2,499 Candidates to Appear
The re-exam is being conducted on September 5 for candidates who could not complete their exam owing to power supply disruption
Sept 5: The NEET PG 2026 re-examination will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm at five designated examination centres in Jaipur district. A total of 2,499 candidates will appear for the computer-based examination.
The NEET PG examination was conducted across the country on August 30, 2026, shared Examination Coordinator Narendra Kumar Verma. However, at two examination centres at iON Digital Zone, IDZ Sitapura, Jaipur, the exam could not be completed owing to problems with the internal power supply. The re-exam is being conducted on September 5 for candidates who could not complete their exam at these centres.
The designated centres and the number of candidates appearing at each are as follows:
- Shankara Institute of Technology – 280 candidates
- Alankar Mahila PG Mahavidyalaya – 350 candidates
- Jaipur Engineering College – 640 candidates
- Aurobindo International School, Jaipur – 340 candidates
- Shri Balaji College of Engineering and Technology – 889 candidates
The district administration has directed all concerned departments to complete the stipulated arrangements on time and ensure a peaceful, smooth and fair environment throughout the examination.
The Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (JVVNL) has been instructed to ensure uninterrupted power supply at the centres. The Department of Information Technology and Communication has been directed to ensure the necessary basic facilities for conducting the computer-based examination.
