NEET PG 2026 Re-Exam Conducted Successfully
A total of 2,416 candidates were recorded as present across the five centres in Jaipur
Sept 7, 2026 - The NEET PG 2026 re-examination was successfully conducted in Jaipur on Saturday, September 5, as per the scheduled programme, under the close supervision of Jaipur District Collector Sandesh Nayak and other senior officials. A total of five examination centres were designated in Jaipur district for the re-examination, with arrangements made for 2,499 candidates.
Examination Coordinator and Additional District Collector, Jaipur City East, Narendra Kumar Verma, said that attendance of a total of 2,416 candidates were recorded as present across the five centres.
The re-exam was conducted as the scheduled August 30, 2026, NEET PG exam at two centres located at iON Digital Zone (IDZ), Sitapura, could not be completed owing to an issue related to internal power supply.
A district-level control room was established to ensure that any issue was immediately taken cognizance of and resolved. Teams from Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (JVVNL) were specially deployed to ensure uninterrupted power supply. During the mock drills and pre-exam preparations, technical teams from the Department of Information Technology and Communication (DoIT&C), administrative officers and officials from other concerned departments were present.
