Udaipur, February 8, 2025 - The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the exam date for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2025. The exam will be conducted on May 4, 2025, in pen and paper mode. The application process has started at neet.nta.nic.in. The optional section in Section B has been removed for NEET UG 2025. The exam will now follow the pre-COVID format without extra time or choices.

Exam Date and Duration

• NEET UG 2025: May 4, 2025

• Exam Time: 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (3 hours)

• Mode: Pen and paper

Application and Result Dates

• Registration Starts: February 7, 2025

• Last Date to Apply: March 7, 2025

• Application Edit Window: March 9-11, 2025

• Result Declaration Expected: June 14, 2025

Courses Covered Under NEET UG

NEET UG scores will be used for admission to:

• MBBS & BDS (Medical and Dental courses)

• BVSc & AH (Veterinary courses)

• BAMS, BUMS, BSMS, BHMS (Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy)

• BSc Nursing (MNS) (For Armed Forces Medical Services Hospitals)

Why Pen and Paper Mode?

Despite previous paper leak concerns, NEET UG 2025 will continue in offline mode due to logistics challenges in conducting a smooth online exam.
