The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has opened the portal for medical colleges to enter their seat details for the upcoming NEET UG counselling for the 2024 academic session. This announcement comes as students await the Supreme Court verdict and the final date for counselling.

Portal Open Until July 20

Medical colleges can enter their seat details on the official portal, mcc.nic.in, until July 20. The MCC has urged participating institutions to complete the seat entry process as soon as possible to ensure timely completion.

Accessing the Portal

Institutions can use the same user ID and password as in previous years to access the intramcc portal. If any institution has forgotten their password or needs to generate a new one, they can use the ‘Forgot Password’ feature.

Counselling to Begin in Third Week of July

The NEET UG 2024 counselling is set to begin in the third week of July and will be conducted in four rounds. The process will include 15% all India quota seats at various central universities, government colleges, deemed universities, and seats for wards of Insured Persons (IP quota) at ESIC medical colleges and Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) Pune.

Strict Measures Against Malpractices

The MCC has warned that any students found using unfair means or malpractices during any stage of counselling or afterwards will have their counselling cancelled.
