Final verdict by MP High Court on petitions filed by NEET UG candidates after June 26; NTA is scheduled to announce the NEET UG results by June 14
June 10, 2025 - A hearing was held on June 9 at the Indore Bench of the Madhya Pradesh High Court regarding the petitions filed related to the NEET UG examination. The Court verbally clarified that results will be declared for all except for the 75 affected candidates who have filed petitions challenging the exam.
The hearing took place before the Bench of Justice Pawan Kumar Dwivedi.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is scheduled to announce the NEET UG results by June 14, 2025. Results for candidates who have not challenged the NEET UG exam will be released.
The Court further said that a final hearing will be conducted after June 26, and whatever decision is taken will be binding on all results. Earlier orders related to the result declaration would be amended accordingly, it added.
The petitioners had filed a case at the MP High Court citing inconvenience at the centre owing to power cut and rainfall.
The Court in its May 15 order had temporarily stayed the declaration of results across India till the next date of hearing. However, it revised this order on May 16 allowing release of results for centres across India except 11 centres of Indore which were affected by power outage.
Now, in this new order dated June 9, the NTA can declare all results except for that of the petitioners.
