Udaipur, January 3, 2025 - The Central government has assured the Supreme Court that it will implement the necessary steps suggested by a seven-member expert panel to improve the NEET-UG exam system. The panel’s report, which focuses on making the exam process more transparent, fair, and secure, was submitted to the government. The Supreme Court has scheduled a review of the matter for April, following a three-month break.

The expert panel, led by former ISRO chief K. Radhakrishnan, has not yet made the report public due to sensitive details regarding the handling of exam papers.

In August, the Supreme Court issued a detailed judgment that included seven crucial steps to improve the NEET-UG exam process. These steps are:

  1. Forming an evaluation committee.

  2. Creating clear guidelines (Standard Operating Procedure).

  3. Reviewing the process for assigning exam centers.

  4. Conducting strict identity checks.

  5. Installing CCTV cameras at exam centers.

  6. Ensuring secure logistics for handling exam papers.

  7. Setting up a system to resolve complaints and issues effectively.

Meanwhile, the NTA (National Testing Agency) has announced the syllabus for NEET UG 2025, covering subjects such as Physics, Biology, and Chemistry. More details about the registration process, exam cities, admit cards, and results will be available on the official NTA website. https://neet.nta.nic.in/
