The administrative block of MLSU’s College of Arts will get a make lift as the construction of a new administrative building has been started. The new building will consist of 18 rooms and 2 lawns. The whole project will cost around Rs 1.80 Crore.

At present, the administrative building has 12 rooms. After construction of the new block, the classes will be shifted to the old building.

Dr. Sharad Shrivastava, dean of the Arts College said, “Due to lack of classrooms, we could not operate it regularly and conduct classes on alternative days.”

“We need 18 class rooms for the students and after the new administrative block will be constructed, we will shift classrooms to the old block,” informed Dr. Shrivastava.

Fund of Rs.95 lacs have been already received from UGC for the project and the remaining amount will be received soon.
