The construction work at the new Campus of IIM is in full swing on land allotted by State Government in Balicha, covering 253 acres. On this mammoth piece of land, more than 50% would be reserved only for lush green parks, while the remaining land will be used for both College and Hostel Buildings.
Dinker Hiteshi, Chief of Administration IIMU said, “An initiative of saving environment is kept in concern, so that a peaceful and healthy environment could be given to the batches to come”.
Hiteshi added that a precaution would be taken to minimize loss to the surrounding ecology as construction proceeds; he further informed that the land is on one of the busiest highway which is also a reason behind developing garden at the IIM campus of Udaipur.
