The two year MBA program at the Indian Institute of Management, Udaipur was inaugurated on 24 August, in the presence of Janat Shah, Director of IIM Udaipru; Sonjoy Chatterjee, CEO of Goldman Sachs India and Rezina Sultana, Academic Dean, IIM Udaipur alongwith other faculty members and students.

The inauguration for the 2020-2022 batch was attended by over 375 participants and was held over a digital platform. This was followed by a three orientation session for the incoming batch.

Sonjoy Chatterjee added that while the wheel of progression will keep moving, the conduct of the students, discipline and approach to team work within and outside the campus will define the years to follow.

Professor Janat Shah, Director of IIM Udaipur in his address to the incoming batch said, "the class of 2022 will be the pioneer class of IIM Udaipur. You have worked hard to be here. We will provide you the platform and enable the ecosystem, but you will be writing your story. You will discover what you are good at and how you can become financial stable, while at the same time, contributing to society."

Rezina Sultana, Academic Dean of IIM Udaipur, in her welcome address to the students said that the consistency to strive through the next two years will open the doors to success.

The Vision Core Team led by Prof Prakash Satyavegeeswaran, Prof Ashish Galande and Prof Vijayta Doshi held general orientation for the students, addressing IIM Udaipur's Vision 2030. Sessions on career support, placement offerings and gender sensitization were also held once the inauguration was done.
