In an attempt to make PhD research work more effective and stop duplication, Mohanlal Sukhadia University is going to implement strict provisions. In this, the guide will check the thesis on online Shodhganga before signing for it.

University’s spokesman Dr Kunjan Acharya informed that this step was initiated by Vice Chancellor Prof I.V Trivedi during the Council of Dean meeting.

Shodhganga is a website that catches duplicate content. The concerned guide should be prepared and take necessary actions. Only after verification on Shodhganga, the guide should sign the thesis.

In the meeting, it was opined to move the Dean PG Office to the building opposite the auditorium to enable research interview at one place. Presently, the office is in the administrative building. To avoid the problem of online form filling and fees deposit, discussions are carrying on with other agencies. Regarding this, E-Mitra, Axis Bank and HDFC Bank are considered.
