Orientation cum welcome programme was held today for the incoming batch at Geetanjali Medical College. J.P. Agarwal, Chairman of Geetanjali Group was the Chief Guest on the occasion.

The programme began with a Ganesh Vandana by Madhurima Bhati. Post that Academic Officer Dr Manjinder Kaur gave details about the MBBS coursework and other academic nuances. Dr. D.M. Mathur, member of the anti-ragging committee then gave students awareness about the anti-ragging clause in campus.

J.P. Agarwal in his address urged the students to take maximum advantage of the coursework and recognise the importance of time. Students have a great responsibility towards the healthcare of the nation.

Vice Chancellor R.K. Nahar, Director Ankit Agarwal, Principal F.S.Mehta and Registrar Bhupendra Mandliya were also present on the occasion.
