A one-day National Level corporate conference was organized today by Pacific Institute of Management and Technology. The conference was held at the conference hall of Hotel Management Institute.

A one-day National Level corporate conference was organized today by Pacific Institute of Management and Technology. The conference was held at the conference hall of Hotel Management Institute.

The conference was started with a welcome ceremony by Rahul Agrawal, Secretary PAHER, Dr. A. B. D. Rai, president of Pacific University and B. P. Sharma, Pro-president of University.

In his short address to the attendees, Rahul Agrawal said, “the motive of this corporate meet is to do brain storming on the present scenario in corporate world and reforms in management studies, so that the distance between students and industry should be lowered down.”

In the first round of speech, Dr. A.B.D Rai and V.P. Sharma expressed their views and suggestions regarding the necessities of such national level meet.

Sharad Kothari, registrar of University articulated the requirement of making education more career oriented, keeping in mind the market need.

In his keynote speech, Brigadier G.S. Manak, Army Headquarters Delhi said, “Both Industry and Military need leadership and management, the student of management should have potential qualities of leadership, to become a successful leader”.

Corporates that came from different cities shared their views and said that industry need good manpower and this is only possible, if both management institutes and corporate work together and keep a better coordination.

More than 50 corporate, including directors of all blu chip companies based in cities like Ahmadabad, Surat, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Jaipur, Bangaluru and Bhilwara came in the meet.
