Pacific University achieved a huge success among its peers by winning Simulated Management Games, organized by All India Management Association, New Delhi. Pacific College represented Rajasthan and created history by securing the first prize beating 278 teams from all over India. Final round was played at GRG school of Management Studies, Coimbatoor.

The winning team, headed by Vice Principal Shivoham Singh, consisted of Sonali Mehta, Dipesh Bokadiya, Sudhanshu Bikaneriya and Shiba Parveen. They were presented a trophy, Rs 80000 cash, gift hampers from Cadbury and Jhon Players and a 3 days/2 nights holiday package.

In this competition, 278 teams from all over India, each consisting of 4 students, participated. In the first round, teams competed against teams of their respective cities and then against their respective regional teams. After this, winners from all the regions participated in All India Semifinal. In the end, 9 teams from 75 semifinalists were selected for the finals. In the final, Team Pacific University won the competition.

This victory is achieved by a north Indian team after 6 years and this is the first time that a team from Rajasthan has won this competition.

In the competition, each Management Simulation team is given imaginary business situations and cases where they have to analyze, create solutions and take various decisions according to various work areas. All their decisions are recorded in a special software called ‘Chanakya’. This softare then generates various other options and results on the basis of which they have to keep on analyzing and giving their decisions. Finally, on the basis of the results generated, winners are decided.
