Panchayati Raj Teachers Association appeals against High Court Stay Order
More than 100 teachers of Panchayati Raj Teachers Association met with Deputy Director of Secondary Education Department, Seeta Sharma at her office. The teachers demanded removal of stay order and effectiveness of teachers promotions ordered under DPC of the State government.
More than 100 teachers of Panchayati Raj Teachers Association met with Deputy Director of Secondary Education Department, Seeta Sharma at her office. The teachers demanded removal of stay order and effectiveness of teachers promotions ordered under DPC of the State government.
District President of the Association, Sher singh Chouhan said, “Recently under the DPC of State Government the teachers of third grade were promoted to the second grade; a total of 3644 posts were promoted.”
“However, a few days after the promotion, 155 posts out of the 3644 promotions were contested against in the Jaipur High Court, and eventually the High court put stay order on all the 3644 posts and the case is underway”, added Sher Singh.
The Association demanded that the 155 posts under contest could be put under stay, while the rest of all the 3489 posts shall be made effective for promotion.
Seeta Sharma heard their case and said that she will take legal help and write to the High court regarding the memorandum of Association. However, the decision lies with the High court, clarified Seeta Sharma.
Yogesh Sharma, Satish Jain, Tulsiram Suthar and several other members from the association were present, along with many other district teachers.
