The 46^th Annual fest of Home Science College, Udaipur was organised today, titled ‘Evefest-2012’ with many events that thrilled the audience.

The event started with the traditional lamp lightning ceremony. The welcome note was delivered by Dr. Aarti Sankhla, Dean, Home Science College. She also presented a report on college’s achievement in education, research and broadcasting.

“It is a very good achievement that instead of opting for a job, the students of Home Science College are showing interest in becoming entrepreneur,” said Prof. O.P Gill, Vice-chancellor, MPUAT. He praised the experience developing programs run by the college and pointed towards the need of the Research project for the financial upbringing of the rural women.

Dr. Dhrati Solanki, Assistant Dean, Student Welfare presented an overview of co-curricular activities done by students in the year.

The dance numbers such as ‘Horror Dance’, ‘Taandav’ got the audience’s attention. Students portrayed the topic of ‘Dowry’ through the one-act play.

The event was led by Dolly Mogra, Prachi Avinash and Lata Sati. The vote of thanks was given by Juhi Lodha, President, Student Union. The students were also awarded for their achievements in this session in the program.
