Central Public School (CPS) celebrated their annual function on Monday, 7th May at the Sukhadia Rangmanch. The three hour program consisted of a number of cultural shows presented by CPS students. The audience, included parents, teachers, and a large number of former students who refreshed their cheerful school memories through ‘Polaris’, which is organized once every two years. The event commenced with the traditional opening ceremony under the Direction of Alka Sharma, Director and Zehra Ali, Principal of CPS. The Chief Guest of the program was Colonel Madhur Goyal.
According to Deepak Sharma, M.D, CPS there are only two celebrations that CPS conducts at a mass level, one is on Deewali and other is Polaris, which is conducted on the Annual Day and once every two years. While a score of dance performances, viz. Devi Dance, Blind Dance, Still Dance, Skating Dance, etc enthralled the jam packed auditorium, the performances by the tiny tots were praised by everyone.
