Rajasthan Agricultural University organized a placement session for students of the M.B.A Agri-Business course and also for the candidates seeking summer training in conjunction with the Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur.

A number of students were selected by well-known Private Companies and Public Sector Banks who attended the placement session. “Out of 18 students from the 2010-12 batch 7 have been placed in well-known Agri-based firms and nationalized banks having being given packages in the range of 3-5 lacs.

Well-known companies including Bank of India, the Reliance Group of Companies, Sumitomo Chemicals Limited, Payajinam Limited and N.G.O Action for Food Production among others selected the students”, said Dr. S.R Maalo, Dean.

He added, “Many of the students were also selected for summer trainings with various companies; viz. Chambal Fertilizers and Chemicals, Nuziveedu Seeds Limited and Sumitomo Chemicals”.

“We are positive about the future placements of our students as we have received good feedback on our students and we would be conducting such placement sessions in the future also”, says Dr. D.C Pant, Nodal Officer, Agri-Business Management.
