The State Education Department has launched an innovative program aimed at enhancing co-curricular activities for students in PM Schools for Rising India (PM SHRI). This initiative is focused on students in classes 9-12, although younger students are also encouraged to participate.

As part of the initiative, PM SHRI schools across the state will organize exposure visits during February and March. These visits are designed to broaden students horizons by introducing them to museums, historical monuments, innovative 'best out-of-waste' parks, and other educational sites. The goal is to foster logical thinking and imagination in students while deepening their understanding of science and technology.

This new program is being implemented in 402 schools that were upgraded to PM SHRI status last year. Through these activities, the Education Department aims to provide a holistic educational experience that balances academic learning with real-world exposure and creative thinking.
