Dr. Pratap Singh Takes Charge As Vice Chancellor of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology MPUAT, Udaipur
Subsequent to taking charge, Vice Chancellor Dr. Pratap Singh offered floral tributes to the statue of Maharana Pratap in the campus of Rajasthan College of Agriculture (RCA), Udaipur and also to the statue of Swami Vivekananda
Udaipur, October 20, 2025: Dr. Pratap Singh, the new Vice Chancellor of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur, assumed charge on Sunday, October 19, 2025.
Dr. Singh said that the agricultural policies of the Central and State governments would be implemented smoothly. He stated that the economic and educational development of the tribal community in the region would be his priority in the direction of the Viksit Bharat campaign of the central government. Dr. Singh said that with everyone's cooperation and utilising the multiple tools of traditional knowledge, scientific thinking, and innovation, he would work for the overall development of the university and address existing and new problems. Dr. Singh appealed to the university's faculty and co-teaching staff to play an active role and work with mutual coordination and dedication.
On the auspicious occasion of Diwali, the newly appointed Vice Chancellor Dr. Pratap Singh offered floral tributes to the statue of Maharana Pratap in the campus of Rajasthan College of Agriculture (RCA), Udaipur and also to the statue of Swami Vivekananda located in the administrative building in the university campus and gave the message of taking inspiration from their life and teachings. On this occasion, all the senior officials of the university, Director, Dean, Head of Department, Faculty, Pensioner Welfare Executive members, officers of the Employees Welfare Committee and well-wishers were present and congratulated him on the auspicious occasion of assuming charge. Vice Chancellor Dr. Pratap Singh also extended his heartfelt greetings to the farmers of the state and the university family on the auspicious occasion of Diwali.
