The prolonged demand of a Helpline Center is still far from reality and the students have to make rounds of Central University campus for every information or to resolve any issue.
The Mohanlal Sukhadia University has 200 colleges spread across the region and every time to gather any piece of information or to converse, student has to travel to and fro to University campus in Udaipur.
Nearly 2.25 Lac students suffer and have to travel to the main campus just because they do not have any other convenient facility of helpline. Currently, four numbers listed on the main website of the university are mostly found to be not working. Also, the grievance section of the site is unresponsive.
IV Trivedi, VC, MLSU said, “Dean of Science College has been asked to figure out the technicalities to address the functionality of the helpline numbers”.
On the same, K Venugopalan, Dean, Science College quoted, “Four phone lines will operate under the helpline facility. Preparations are ongoing and we may start the helpline from 26th Jan.”
Himanshu Chaudhary, Student Leader, said that the issue is persistent from a long time and if university administration shows no positive arrangement for the same soon, then we will protest.
