June 14, 2025 - Preparations for the PTET 2025 examination, conducted for admission to the State's two-year B.Ed and four-year B.A. B.Ed./B.Sc. B.Ed. courses, have been completed. The exam will be held on June 15, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, across 41 districts of Rajasthan, comprising of 736 centres.
Prof. Kailash Sodani, Vice-Chancellor of Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, shared that a total of 2,73,122 candidates will appear for the exam. Jaipur district will have the highest number of exam candidates (33,545) while Jaisalmer will have the least number of candidates (1,681).
Exam Coordinator Dr Alok Chauhan mentioned that to ensure transparency, biometric verification has been made mandatory at every exam centre in the State. Candidates will be allowed to enter the exam hall only after successful verification. Exam centres in districts identified as sensitive from a security perspective have been equipped with CCTV cameras.
A command center has been set up in Kota, which will monitor all centres across the State.
Students qualifying as per the PTET result 2025 will be shortlisted for the BEd course (Single and Integrated) courses provided by participating colleges in Rajasthan.
