Police have busted a racket that made fake degrees and marks card. Several degrees and mark sheets have been obtained from these people.

After putting in a lot of hard work, Karnataka police could manage to nab the team that sold fake degrees and marks cards. These degrees and marks cards were circulated nationwide. Apart from Bengaluru, such fake papers have been obtained from a woman and five others in New Delhi and Ghaziabad as well. The accused have been arrested.

According to police officials, more people will be arrested as the networking of these criminals has spread throughout the country. Central Crime Branch is actively working on this issue and are constantly arresting people as per whereabouts provided by the other arrested team members. Racket leader Saurav Kumar Sharma(45) from Ghaziabad, Aruna(32) from Bengaluru, Kunal Kumar Mandal(28) owner  of Join us for Education, Dipankar Sen(35) from Bengaluru and Sandesh Agrawal(35) from New Delhi have been arrested.

As per police reports, Satvik Kumar, student, contacted Join us for Education in Manipal Centre, North Block through internet. He paid 50,000 rupees for a fake mark sheet. As per this information, police raided the office of Join us for Education and arrested Kunal Kumar Mandal. As per information provided by Kunal, Kaushal Kumar was his helping hand.

Dipankar Sen has been arrested on the basis of call details of Kunal. Dipankar was buying fake mark sheets from Saurav Kumar. Saurav has been arrested from Ghaziabad. Saurav’s real name is Gaurav. Upon interrogation, Saurav revealed the name of Sandesh Agrawal of New Delhi who was selling fake mark sheets to Saurav. Police also raided Double Ad Consultancy in Pithampur. 732 fake mark sheets in the names of various universities have been recovered from here.

Saurav has 180 agents countrywide. With the help of these agents, Saurav has sold 1.60 lakh fake degrees and mark sheets. The cost of one degree was fixed at 30,000 rupees and that of mark sheets was between 20 to 25 thousand rupees. The convicts used fake stamps and holograms for the decimal signatures of universities.

Aruna of Bengaluru was running Fortune Institute and has also been arrested.

The busted racket used to make fake degrees for MBBS and Medical students. They also used to supply dupe certificates for B.Com, B.Sc and PhD.
