Rajasthan Education Dept Wins SKOCH Awards for Two Key Initiatives
Both projects reached the final stage after evaluations at various levels during an approximately four-month-long National selection process
UdaipurTimes, Sept 29, 2026 - Two important initiatives of the Rajasthan School Education Department — Khushishala Khud Ki Khoj and AI-Based Competency Assessment — have received SKOCH Awards at the national level. Sharing this information Additional Chief Secretary of School Education Rajesh Yadav said that both projects reached the final stage after presentations and evaluations at various levels during an approximately four-month-long National selection process.
The awards were given at the 110th SKOCH Summit, held at the India Habitat Centre in New Delhi, for innovation in education, effective use of technology and student-centric efforts.
State Project Director and Commissioner Dr Rashmi Sharma and Yadav presented the certificates of recognition received for both initiatives to Chief Secretary V Srinivas at the Government Secretariat, Jaipur, on Monday, September 28.
Khushishala Khud Ki Khoj focuses on strengthening students’ self-awareness, mental well-being, compassion and a positive classroom environment while, AI-Based Competency Assessment is being used to assess students’ learning progress and make remedial teaching more effective according to their individual needs.
Earlier, three projects from Rajasthan, including Prakhar Rajasthan, had been selected for the semi-final round.
