8 Colleges Already Included in Central Quota

Students from Mewar and Vagad dreaming of becoming doctors will have new option. The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has recently added three government medical colleges in Rajasthan to the central quota allocation list. Now, 15% of MBBS seats across 11 medical colleges in Rajasthan will be available under the central quota. This means students from Mewar and Vagad have a new local option, reducing the need to study outside their region.

This new list includes the newly added Banswara Medical College near Udaipur, along with existing institutions in Nagaur and Sawai Madhopur. Previously, eight other medical colleges, including RNT Medical College in Udaipur, are part of this list. 

8 Medical Colleges Already in Central Quota

  1. RNT Medical College, Udaipur
  2. Dr S.N Medical College, Jodhpur
  3. Government Medical College, Kota
  4. JLN Medical College, Ajmer
  5. Jhalawar Medical College, Jhalawar
  6. RUHS College, Jaipur
  7. SMS Medical College, Jaipur
  8. Sardar Patel Medical College, Bikaner

Education expert Dev Sharma confirmed that the Letter of Permission (LOP) for the MBBS program under the central quota has been issued. According to the MCC notification, eight new institutions nationwide have been allocated central quota seats. Banswara, Nagaur, and Sawai Madhopur are among them. The seats will be available through the All India Quota Counseling Round-2.
