Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot instructed officials of the department to release the waiting list of 193 posts of PTI Grade III Recruitment 2011 and 444 posts of Senior Teacher recruitment 2016. He also directed the officials to finalise the process of Lecturer Recruitment that is pending since 2018.

Regulation of Fees in Private Schools

One of the important regulatory decisions was that of the constitution of Rajasthan State Education Regulatory Authority that will fix fees and monitor other problems in private education institutions in the school education and higher education domain.

English Medium Schools

A survey will be conducted to augment the number of Mahatma Gandhi schools in cities, in view of the increasing bent towards English medium education.

Sports and Third Language

The CM said that the posts of physical education teachers and physical education training centers will be increased to encourage sports and bring awareness of physical education among children.  Separate rules for giving priority to Scouts and Guides and NSS students in government jobs in the state will be taken, in line with the current ones for sportspersons and NCC students. If there are 10 or more students of a third language (Sanskrit, Punjabi, Siundhi, Urdu, etc.) in a senior secondary school, the teachers post will be allotted as per demand.
