The Rajasthan University will begin offering free online coaching to students throughout the state for competitive exams like IAS and RAS in partnership with Ek Pahal India Sansthan and the National Students Union of India (NSUI).
During a media briefing on Wednesday, vice chairman Rajeev Jain announced that an institution that will be hosting classes for competitive exams has been granted a hall on the campus of the university.
Around 200–250 students can attend classes at the university in person, but the lectures will be broadcast online to all the state's government colleges, where lakhs of students will be able to take advantage of this effort.
Officials said that LED screens are being installed at a hall in the university and such screens have already been installed in 53 other government colleges in the state.
Forms for enrolling in this initiative will be available on the official website of University of Rajasthan from February 27. If some colleges or institutions, request offline classes in their premises, then arrangements for that will also be made, said representatives from NSUI.
