Mohan Lal Sukhadia University (MLSU) will start off Rajasthan’s first finishing school from the coming academic session. School’s Development Cell will provide students with training for succeeding in placement opportunities. The onus of placing students will continue to lie with the Placement cell.

Udaipur Chamber of Commerce and Industries (UCCI) will play an important supporting role in this. An Industry-University interface committee has also been organised to facilitate this support from UCCI. UCCI President, Hansraj Choudhary, Prof P.R.Vyas, Prof B.L.Verma and Prof Ashok Nagar will provide oversight to the committee.

The Industry-University interface committee will provide students with awareness about industry expectations and subsequently carry out a need based training programme for students.

Prof J.P.Sharma, Vice Chancellor, MLSU said, “There was a detailed discussion during the first meeting of Industry-University interface committee that has been formed for supporting students with finishing school. The finishing school along with new coursework will help in improving placement opportunities for students.”
