In the context of RAS examination in 2023, it has been reported that there has been an increase of 67 additional positions within the State Civil Services. As a result of this increase, the total number of positions available for recruitment now stands at 972. Furthermore, in the Subordinate Services category, a total of 481 positions are still available for candidates. This development signifies a significant change in the overall composition of the examination.

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission has made a noteworthy announcement regarding the classification of these positions, and this information was officially released on Thursday, October 19, 2023.

In the initial recruitment announcement made on August 28, 2023, a total of 905 positions were advertised for recruitment. Among these positions, 424 were designated for State Services, while 481 were allocated to Subordinate Services. It is worth noting that there has been an increase in the number of positions available in the State Services since then.
