Udaipur, May 27, 2025 - The results of the Grade 8 Rajasthan Board for Secondary Examination 2025 were announced yesterday, May 26, at the Dr Radhakrishnan Education Complex auditorium in Jaipur. Education Minister Madan Dilawar joined virtually to release the results of the exams conducted from March 20 to April 2.

This year, the pass percentage stood at 96.66%, which is an improvement of 0.94% from the previous year. Of the 12,64,618 students appearing for the exams, 12,22,369 students passed. Last year, the pass percentage was 95.13%.

Like previous years, girls outperformed boys at 97.24% pass percentage while the success rate for boys was 96.14%.

A total of 41,368 students will have to give the Supplementary examination, which will be held in August. Owing to schools not submitting sessional marks on time and other reasons, the results of 881 students have been withheld and will be released separately.

The top five performing districts are Sikar, Dausa, Ajmer, Nagaur and Churu while among the lowest performing districts are Dholpur, Baran, Pali, Chittorgarh and Karauli.

Secretary of Education, Krishna Kunal, said that overall the results show an improvement. He also informed that the results of the 5th Board exam have been prepared and will be announced in three days.
