A Seminar was organized by Resonance, Udaipur on 17th March at the Auditorium of Rajasthan College of Agriculture (RCA).

The program was conducted in two sessions. The topic of the first session was Raising Extraordinary Kids which was taken by Mr. Nilesh Gupta, who is the head of Pre-foundation Career Care Programs Division at Resonance.

Nilesh Gupta discussed about various habits of Kids and the ways to nurture their talents. He also emphasized on the early start for the children for making careers in any stream. Gupta talked on extracurricular activities for the overall development of a child. The second session was based on Indian Science Engineering Eligibility Test (ISEET), which is the proposed new pattern of IIT-JEE & AIEEE and was conducted by Chandra Shekhar Sharma who is the Head of the Department in Physics at Resonance Eduventures Pvt. Ltd.

Resonance Seminar on Extraordinary KidsHe started his speech by explaining the old pattern of IIT-JEE & gradually compared it with the proposed new pattern in which weightage will also be given to Board percentage along with Main & Advance Papers to be conducted for the admission in the prestigious IITs, NITs, and other prominent colleges of the country.

He informed the students and parents that in the proposed changes for ISEET in which around 40% weightage will be given to XII Board Marks and remaining 60% weightage will be given to the Entrance test, which will consist of two papers.

Paper 1 will be called as the Main, which will have questions from Aptitude & Paper 2 will be Advance which will have questions from Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. Mr. Sharma also added that Resonance is well equipped to face any kind of changes in the pattern of Engineering Entrance Examinations. He informed the parents that Study Material for the coverage of Subjective pattern of Board & Objective pattern of Main & Advance test has already been prepared. In the End, Winners of ResoSTaRT-2012, which was a talent reward Test conducted by Resonance were rewarded with attractive prizes. Yash Gupta, who secured All India Rank in STaRT-2012 in Class XI has won a 6 days trip to Singapore along with a Silver Medal, while Palak Jain of the same class secured All India Rank -3 & won a Laptop along with a Bronze Medal.
