RNT Medical college fared poorly in the ranking issued by medical education department. It was ranked second last among government-run medical colleges just above JLN Medical College, Ajmer.
RNT Medical college fared poorly in the ranking issued by medical education department. It was ranked second last among government-run medical colleges just above JLN Medical College, Ajmer.
Medical education department initiated the ranking process to push medical colleges to improve the facilities, where they are lagging behind other medical colleges of the state.
Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Medical College, Jaipur topped the ranking in Rajasthan. It was followed by SP Medical College, Bikaner and Medical College, Kota was ranked third. Jhalawar Medical College and SN Medical College, Jodhpur capped off the top five.
The ranking were based on facilities like e-classrooms, e-books and journal nodes in all departments, swimming pool, gymnasium, playground and laboratory. Further,colleges were also assessed on their research productivity, publication in national and international journals and graduation outcome performance of students.
