A two day International Robotics workshop began today at Sunrise College. The event was jointly organized by Sunrise Group of Institutions and Technofilia System (Mumbai).

Himanshu Jain, Director and Dr. Pushpendra Singh, Principal, formally started the event by lighting the lamp. Dr. Singh spoke on the importance of Robotics in Engineering and its future.

The main emphasis of the workshop is to make students interested in Robotics and Embedded Systems. Amay Bhopi, Mumbai explained various phenomenons of Robotics via practicals.

As informed by Zubin Jain, at the first day of workshop, students demonstrated the use of simulation software in Robotics.  Kits were also distributed among students.

On the second day, a Robotics quiz competition was organized where 15 students were selected, who will get a chance to compete in National Robotics Competition.
