The competitive exam for the Programmer position in the Information Technology and Communication Department was held by RPSC on Sunday, October 27,2024. The examination took place in two sessions. The first session ran from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, while the second session was from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. In Udaipur, 62 exam centers were set up for the candidates.

Candidate Registration and Attendance

A total of 17,184 candidates registered for the exam. The overall attendance across both sessions was recorded at 36.98%.

Question Paper Details

Exam expert Sanjay Lunawat shared insights about the question papers. The first paper included topics such as reasoning tests, numerical analysis, general studies, and current affairs related to Rajasthan and India. It also featured questions on database management systems, data communication, and computer networks.The second question paper concentrated on system analysis and design, along with programming concepts. 

Candidates  noted that the level of questions in the computer subject was average. However, since the second question paper was focused on specific subjects, it was easier for the candidates to tackle.
