Udaipur, March 24, 2025 - The RPSC Revenue Officer (RO) Grade-2 and Executive Officer (EO) Grade-4 recruitment exam-2022 was conducted on Sunday, March 23, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at 102 exam centers in Udaipur. The exam had a very low attendance, with only 7,062 candidates (22.04%) appearing out of the 32,038 registered candidates. A total of 24,978 candidates (77.96%) remained absent. This exam was earlier scheduled in October 2024, but it was canceled due to a paper leak. The fresh exam was conducted with strict security measures.

Exam Pattern and Marking System

Candidates had to solve 120 questions worth 120 marks in a single paper on General Knowledge and General Science within 2 hours.

  • Each question carried 1 mark.

  • Negative marking of one-third marks was applied for incorrect answers, selecting more than one option, or leaving a question unattempted without filling the fifth option (unanswered question circle).

  • Candidates were given an extra 10 minutes to fill the fifth option if they wanted to leave a question blank.

  • If a candidate left more than 12 questions (10% of the paper) unanswered, they will be disqualified.

Question Pattern and Syllabus Coverage

Experts Sanjay Lunawat and Shubham Jain analyzed the exam and shared that it contained nine questions related to Mewar and Vagad. The questions were asked in-depth and in an unconventional manner.

The majority of the questions were from Rajasthan-based topics, covering:

  • Rajasthan’s history, art, culture, literature, traditions, and heritage

  • Rajasthan’s geography

  • Indian Constitution, political system, and governance

  • Rajasthan’s political and administrative system

  • Current affairs

  • Rajasthan Municipality Act 2009

  • Various rules and schemes related to urban bodies

The exam also included tricky questions requiring candidates to identify correct codes and statements, making the exam of a high standard with a mix of easy and difficult questions.
