RTE Unlocks Document Upload Option; Applicants Get Second Chance Until April 9

Udaipur, April 7, 2026 – The Directorate of Elementary Education, Bikaner, on April 4 issued an official order (Ref. No. Rajkaj 21408916 dated April 4, 2026), regarding RTE admission timeline under the Right to Education Act, 2009. The RTE portal has been unlocked for parents to re-upload documents for the academic session 2026-27. The re-load option on the RTE portal has been opened from April 6 to 9, 2026, which will offer relief to all rejected applications.

Many applications for the academic session 2026-27 were not successfully uploaded owing to technical issues. As a result, during the first phase of document verification by schools – from March 17 to 25 – those applications were rejected because of missing documents and other reasons.

With the re-opening of the portal, parents have been given a second chance to resolve the objections and re-load the required documents.

Earlier, on April 1, a protest was held at the DEO office under the leadership of former Ward 7 Councillor Hidayatulla to highlight the issues faced by parents while applying for RTE. The following day, a memorandum was submitted to ADM (City) Jitendra Ojha.
